"Our faith teaches that life is sacred. God's 6th commandment "Thou shall not kill." (Exodus 20:13) We believe this also applies to the practice of injecting substances that could potentially cause death. This applies to all vaccines that list death as an adverse reaction, or any other side effect that could potentially cause death such as encephalitis." -Educate4theInjured.org
You do not have to be a member of a recognized religion in order to claim a religious exemption. The US Supreme Court has held in Frazee V. Illinois Dept. of Security, 489 US 829, that a religious belief is subject to protection even though no religious group espouses such beliefs or the fact that the religious group to which the individual professes to belong may not advocate or require such belief. Also a federal court has determined that, under title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended Nov. 1, 1980; Part 1605.1- Guidelines on Discrimination Because of Religion, a deeply held moral or ethical belief that relates to life, purpose and death can be equivalent to traditional religious belief. So, for example, if you are a vegan who does not believe it is ethical to kill animals for any purpose, you can claim a vaccine religious exemption based on the fact that animals are killed so their organs can be harvested to make vaccines.Submit this form to your school to keep your child's exemption status private.
